Strong personal message to Kejriwal from an old friend

Dear Arvind,

A defeat deals a body blow to arrogance and makes the mind ready to reflect. So, the timing is appropriate.

I am addressing you as your former friend and colleague who believes that AAP can still be salvaged and become the party for alternative politics. I am reaching out to you because my agony is not just mine; but of lakhs of volunteers, donors and supporters.

We have known each other since 2003, when I was part of Annaji fast-to-death in Mumbai for the RTI etc. You have been my hero first, friend next and politician later.

Let me address the hero first

I remember how you convinced me to get out of my spiritual pursuit and lead the IAC movement in Maharashtra when we met in Nov 2011 in a conference hosted by Bhagwanji Raiyani in SP Jain Institute, Mumbai. In spite of my reluctance, you announced my name. I respected you too much to decline.

I remember in mid 2012, when we both were travelling in an auto in Aarey Colony that you told me to quit my job so that I could give full time to the Anna andolan. In spite of my precarious financial situation, I quit my job.

I remember we used to discuss idealism in politics till late in the night whenever you stayed with us. My daughter, who was part of those discussions, got inspired to become an IRS like you. So, not just me, my entire family believed in your ideals.

I remember that you sent Manish Sisodia to study the experiment that we, in Mumbai, were working on for a citizen consensus candidate for Juhu in 2009. We both were working on creating a model where political candidates could be elected without using money, muscle or divisive agenda i.e. without use of caste, communal, criminal or corrupt practices.
That was exactly what AAP attempted in the 2013 and 2015 Delhi elections, successfully.

I remember how we used to speak for hours about how the personality or high command driven politics of India was destroying the nation– be it Cong or the BJP or the Thackerays or the Laloo, Mayavati and Mulayam. You hated that, then!

When I announced from the stage that you will remove the tubes if you were force fed during your Jantar Mantar fast, there were tears in my eyes along with many others in the audience.

When I came to meet you in Delhi during your fast for electricity your health and determination completely shook me up. You refused to compromise. You would rather break than bend. Millions like me admired you and were willing to even give up their lives for you. You were our hero. Where is that Arvind?

Like Anna, you were a symbol of the aspirations of an awakened nation. A symbol of the principles of Participation, Accountability, Transparency, Decentralization and Integrity. A symbol of the anger we all felt against the other parties that worked with the 4C (corruption, communalism, criminalization and casteism).  AAP became a symbol of the fight of crores of our countrymen against the corrupt parties.

In 2014 you resigned as CM of Delhi hoping that there would be immediate re-election and that AAP would sweep back to power on the back of 49 days of good, intense work. But BJP and Cong delayed the election and Modi swept to power in Parliament. To the worry of myself, Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav, Prithvi, Admiral Ramdas and others – you started pushing all senior members to agree to form government with the Congress. We refused. You were really furious with us. You were still my hero, but by now I was getting worried with the way you were operating.

Then the 2015 Delhi elections were announced. While you had around 5000 volunteers from Delhi working part-time with the candidates; I was part of the leadership of over 6000 volunteers from all over the country, campaigning full time for more than a month. The silent volunteers, the trusting donors, ardent supporters, tele-callers from Rural India to Global Indians contributed and even Yogendra Yadav who was our Chief Spokesperson contributed for AAP victory. What looked like a possible 15-20 seats to AAP suddenly became 67 seats.

This is when you made THE classic mistake. You took the complete credit and felt that the support of the nation was for Arvind Kejriwal, the person. You assumed that you were the pied piper whom people were following, but in fact it was the music of a new political culture that had people enchanted.

Arvind, the unselfish hero who would never compromise, was dead. In his place was a politician who wanted to manipulate that support to fuel his ambition to become a PM in 2019. You and your coterie decided

1.     You will be CM but not take any portfolio and focus outside Delhi trying to create a mahagatbandhan to challenge the PM, with you as the face.

2.     Use the MLAs and senior functionaries outside Delhi to try and win more states. The lack of governance in Delhi due to this fallout was to be blamed on the LG and Central Government.

3.     Erase the difference between private and public money. Use public money for personal advertising, personal expenditure, fly First class, fight personal cases and whenever this gets questioned – point fingers at other parties.

4.     Win at any cost! If Swaraj comes in the way – throw it away. If appeasement works – do it. If caste politics gets you the votes – embrace it. If too many questions are asked – remove the donation list. If money is required, sell seats. Power is more important than principles.

5.     Project Kejriwal as a strong leader. Personally attack Modi at every instance so that you would appear like a daring contestant and be able to create a vote bank of anti-Modi votes.

6.     To further look like a strong leader, remove anyone and everyone from the party that has a differing point of view. As Ashutosh told me – there should be one voice only in the party and anyone opposing should be dealt in a manner that would give a message that this party deals summarily with anyone who opposes the supremo.

As a part of the above strategy, you began by removing Yogendra and Prashant from the party with the worst possible humiliation.

When I was told that there was a gag order on informing the volunteers outside, I asked myself, “What would the real Arvind Kejriwal have done?” He would have listened to his conscience. So I did. I had to inform the lakhs of AAP volunteers about what happened in that crucial meeting, in spite of the gag order. I had the courage of conviction and was ready to be removed from the party. For me, Truth was non-negotiable.

You took time to remove me. And in spite of repeated requests to not punish the superb Maharashtra team to spite me, you threw out the entire Maharashtra AAP committees down to the lowest rung in Oct 2015.  Can Modi or Sonia remove an entire State team with just an edict? We have out beaten other parties with our arrogance and internal politicking.  The other day, a young volunteer with tears in his eyes from rural Maharashtra asked me, “What is our fault?” What do I tell him, Arvind? Why was he removed?

Personally, I have closely seen my friend, hero and someone as precious as you become so vicious and ugly because of hunger for power. I have now become afraid of power. That is why I did not join any group or party after you removed me from the primary membership of the party using the dirtiest and filthiest falsehood.

I remember in one volunteer meeting in Santacruz where we had a public argument. You felt that we should not give any importance to volunteers, they were just tools. I publicly contradicted you saying that these were some of the finest humans who had sacrificed for the nation. They are NOT pawns to be used–and-thrown.

Look around you almost all of the original volunteers who had left everything to join for the principles have been removed, quit or are inactive.

In our scheme of things our volunteers were supposed to be the primary unit of the party so I ask on their behalf. How did you select Ashutosh, Ashish Khetan and others in the national team? Why has no internal election taken place? When is the donation list coming back on the website? Who is accountable for the loss in Punjab, Goa and now Delhi, were the volunteers asked or informed? The questions are innumerable but let us ask with these basic ones.

You took complete power by becoming convener as well as CM of Delhi. How much more power do you want before you start delivering alternative politics?

In your pursuit for power, you have betrayed my beloved nation. You have messed up the life of millions who followed you. They gave you complete power –made you convener and CM. Delhi gave you 67 seats just two years back. What more do you want? I do not know whether you know the reality or are living in denial - but are a very unpopular man in the country. If you do more drama, then it is going to get worse and we cannot afford that.

Dear Arvind, I have seen you turn 180 degrees from what you were. After your complete rejection in Punjab, Goa and now in Delhi, can I expect you to introspect and make another 180 degree turn? Abandon the agenda of wanting to be another BJP and Cong. We had come to fight them not become another version of them. Follow our original agenda that might get back the respect and credibility that you have completely lost with your foolish and vote bank oriented comments.

Get back credible and independent people in the core team. For now, forget your national ambitions and focus on governing Delhi well, that is your only chance of staying relevant. Stop dramas and blaming. We still need the principles; we still need to fight corrupts; we still need to fight against criminalization of politics. We still need to fight against caste and communal politics. The parties that use these tools are still around. Our AAP was formed to fight that. But, for that, AAP needs to transform.

Do you have the strength, integrity and love for the country to genuinely reboot? With all humility, can I request you to let go of your arrogance and ego for the good of the country? Remember nation first, party next and individuals last.

The country needs heroes. Are you one? The battle is between your Ego and the nation. What will you choose?

Love

Mayank

Well Said Mayank...
I lost respect when CM of Delhi slept on the road...lost respect when 26 January became just a date...lost respect with Arvind campaigned in Bhendi Bazar area wearing a skull cap just to get votes in the name of religion...lost respect when IAC was no more the issue...

Dear Mayank,
If you really wanted the AAP to go back top the original Avataar, you could have eschewed the harsh words you have chosen to describe the present Arvind Kejriwal. The hurt of being thrown out is very obvious in your above Blog. A more mature way would have been to appeal to AK's better senses and bring back the original purpose to the Party,
Like me, many of the old time volunteers are disappointed some even disillusioned but all of us know one thing. The AAP philosophy is the best panacea to all the ills in the Country and by all means we would like AAP to reinvent itself.
And we are hopeful that AK and other senior leaders in the Party will see the light but by your diatribe, you will only push AK and others into a corner and all will be lost forever.
I sincerely hope that You in Person will try and talk to AK in private and see how best the situation can be retrieved even if it needs much humility on your part
I am 72 years old and have nothing much to look forward to but at least for the future of the unborn generation, it is imperative that AAP regains its original path and become a strong alternative to the current dispensation of corrupt and communal forces.

before commenting on your blog i will also tell you a small story about me which is true.when this all new born party was made & i was also one of volunteer who use to come to your santacruz meetings, supported in many of andolan's be it aseem release or party work in booth levels.after coming to your meetings met you one day personally & told you my intension to join AAP mumbai fully 24*7 & u said come & meet in andheri office ,i was working in took time to meet you you were little busy & was told to wait.i waited 2 hrs but couldn't meet you as have taken break from my working hrs & came .2nd time also i took out time after a week waited & went back & both time i sent message to you & you said just give me 10 mins.main sab chodkar aaya tha to join AAP (my responsibilities,my family everything)but never got ahead, may be it was my bad luck but still am with AAP today not on any post just a common volunteer who is doing his best to contribute AAp(online time/donations whatevr my limit is) & will do till my last breath.hold no grudges against you sir.
now coming to your Blog,in first part were u said Arvind as our hero so lets not talk more on that as then my answer will be called his bhakt
coming on second part were you said arvind got ego & nation doesn't need that kind of person.so please tell me has he come corrupt?has he tied up with many corrupt party to win elections?has any of the MLA corruption came out & the which came out u will say aren't all are cleared from court on bail.haven't people who caught aseem(mla) sacked when even just got hint of corruption?wasn't sandeep sacked immediately once his clip came to CM office?isn't swraj have been used in 50% of mohalla's?isn't lokpal bill is passed by delhi govt & is pending with BJP govt for clearance.
i can list you 100's of thing AAP & ak has done but then the choice is already made by ur mind to see what you want to.thats why media also calls you only when have to speak/bash on AAP or Ak.aren't you become a puppet for media.hw many time your work on village is covered in main stream media?i have never seen if any let me know.
if we choose some1 our leader we should trust them stand by them untill he has changed totally opposite wht was promised,u were thinking ki ramraaj aayega AK aane se delhi mein all of sudden, but atleast thoda toh acha ho raha hai.
ashutosh ko kyun liya, ashish khetan ko kyun liya? these kind of questions are un necessary untill their intenstions & track record is clear.
we lost in punjab, goa & now mcd,i can write a whole blog to answer that due to EVM tampering, but no use as u won't believe.
am proud that Arvind krjriwal is one of the rare politician in this country fighting for well being for us.
all 5 fingers are not same.you have not left your family if any major dispute or any offence have occurred because khoon ka rista hai but u left aap cause ye ek party hai were millions r involved.u found urself clasing ur ego with others.
jis din AK ne galat kaam kiya congress jaisa ghotala aur bjp jaisa communalism.i will be one of those who will give back answer very differently.
jai hind.

Character is different than Reputation. Character may be 100% great of AK but politics is done on the reputation and public perception. Someone has to ring the bell and accordingly the beaten perception needs to be amended with a combined strategy without doubting his or team's character and effort. The settling of individual scores are much smaller than the end goals.

I have also been associated with AAP activities, very little though. I think I was the first one to call Arvind Yug-Purush. He acknowledged rather arrogantly. In a meeting with him, I said, " hame aap se badi umeeden hain." he heard, but not with much respect. later I commented somewhere that i cannot uphold the title of Yug-Purush any more. I am from Punjab. I was angry that he didn't trust the Punjabis but kept the command with himself and Sanjay Singh, etc.During an interview, which I watched, he gave in writing to a journalist that AAP would get 100+ seats. Such was arrogance or foolhardiness.

All said and done, I agree with Mayank's analytical observations, criticism and advice or hope for any improvement in Arvind's polluted politics.

Sir,
With due respect to all the volunteers and self respecting individuals out here, please do not undermine the efforts of other politicians, remember that you are one among them claiming to be different but being no different actually. Otherwise how would you explain the huge expenses on rubbish publicity. You would have allowed people to know by your actions and deeds rather than tall advertisements. Mr. Kejriwal is just another politician propped up by a media that has been antagonistic to a school of political thought who saw Congress decimated and wanted something to clutch on to. The brand was never there and a fluke was propped up to look as a messaiah for the masses. Mr. Kejriwal should resign and leave someone else to become the CM and concentrate on genuine work rather than simply bark about evms. Or else soon he will be in the garbage of Delhi politics..

If you want to test the character of a person , give him power. The same is true for AK. Once in CM's post he changed like a girgit and kicked out all good people from the party. He abused all politicians with nonsense. Insulted peoples mandate with EVM tantrum. Wanted proof from Indian Army for Surgical strike and became a hero in Pakistan. Now Shunglu Committee Report is out and his irregularies and nepotism is out in open. Increased salaries of MLAs by 400% to keep them away from Corruption. What a shameless thug calling himself Corruption Crusader. People of Delhi has clean bowled him for his incompetency and incapability. He is non performer and pure stutnman.

The term 'former friend' lacks ownership. Would you call an estranged brother a 'former brother'? What would it take for you to be a true friend who cares and makes a difference?

Very nicely written Mayank!! I was also very interested in IAC activities and followed it very closely. But later, Arvind hijacked the party and embarrassed the core team at every possible moment. Now AK will just look at this as you are trying to humilate him and nothing else on losing elections. This totally looks like a letter where a person is just trying to teach someone a lesson during his bad times.

Mayank, Arvind Kejriwal is on a single track. Modi ji ko gaali nikaalo. This won't help AAP in the current situation. What he needs to do is to offer to voters, something better than Modi ji. Which i must say does not seems possible. I doubt that AK might turn out to be Vinod Kambli of Indian Politics.

With every defeat, AAP looks like a bluff! The discerning observer can also understand that many forces have joined hands to make sure AAP does not surprise like the 67/70 in Delhi.

Whether EVM can and is being hacked or not, that is a technical matter; relevant SMEs should come together to dive deep into it - and clear the air once for all. The political to and fro rhetoric is not helping, rather distracting. EC should step in and take control, by being transparent.

I am neither in to politics nor follow it but amid citizen of India & wants India to be free from corruption, cast & communal politics. I had a great expectation from AK & team when he has shown no interest to be in politics but still wanted to give run to government to forcefully change to corruption free & people oriented government. But looking at the current AK & his team after getting full majority in to power, their actual agenda (true face) exposed the fake face he was wearing.
I am not only sure but confident that AK & his current team will keep blaming PM, central government & will never introspect since they have tested power & money involved in politics.

During Anna’s movement in 2011, I was also in an illusion that our great nation would find its lost glory and we would breathe in a corruption free atmosphere. We were accepting your “dramas” as truth. …. Later realized that you are simply an ambitious person and trying to capture the power by hook or by crook. Result is before you….. And sooner or later, you will become part of history, if continued with present mind and sycophants like Ashutosh, Sanjay, Ashish etc.

What about not allowing Anti-Corruption chief nominated and work against corruption...
What about whole Delhi Police Machinery working against AAP government..
What about no honest bureaucrat allowed to work for Delhi...
What about LG (ornamental post in other states) stopping all good works of AAP govt...
and so on and on...
Does anyone need to have more than average intelligence to see all this...??
All honest and non-corrupt people should accept defeat if AAP is defeated by BJP. Good people should not live in India with hope.. otherwise they will be bashed and defamed by powerful people just like AK. In democratic politics 10 fools are better than 9 wise...so leave hope of a better corruption free India..

Dear Mayank,

The open letter which you have shared wit AK I would like to ask basic questions;

1) AAP started in Delhi how many years Ago?
2) Other Parties how many years old?

Other parties do not want a new party with a difference in public as it hampers their vested interests. AK will do the introspection and will bounce back. But the pain you have shared in this letter is your personal no AK's. The team need to be reformed as deemed fit to AK. AAP contesting first time got 44 seats. These are major numbers for one timers. It is great start.
There are different parameters State wise and on National level. AK new to politics will take time and learn what is best for the nation and state as well. AK needs time to introspect and choose who are the beneficiaries and those who have left AAP as an opportunist everyone knows them as well

Lets give it a break and let AK decide with the core committee.

I think Kejriwal just cashed on the oppurtunity with alternative politics. His intention was always to get into power through a quicker route and aam admis and Janta were fooled like anything by a smart ass called KEJRIWAL. KEJRIWAL NE TO AISA DHOKA DIYA ki ab logon lo Congress bhi achi lagne lagi aur BJP to best lagne lagi. Bottomline...there is no alternative politics.

You are still disillusioned, Mayank has not left AAP, he was removed because he chose truth over AK. You are among many of those dedicated workers who continue to support AAP in the blind optimism that things will change. It is these grassroots workers and supporters of AAP who have to now reclaim the party from Kejriwal. And it is the only and the best way.

Jabardast Sir, Let us hope that after reading your blog God may give some consciousness.

Very well analyzed and put, Mayank.

Don't forget that there was 100% public support to IAC and AK until he formed government with the support of Congress. That was the first big blow for AAP in terms of public support. Remember his rhetoric against Congress and Sheila Dixit's government and corruption? Although, there was a bit of compulsion to form the government, but it did expose the party's stance that power for them is important than principle & credibility. At this instance, many (including me) realized that he's neither any different from other politicians nor his party. However, for many others it took a bit more time to realize that he isn't a person to be take seriously.

Later when they got a whopping mandate and formed the government, rather than governing and focusing on important issues related to Delhi, they lost the way by indulging in personal attacks against the PM. Not to mention the issues with the LG. May be it was part of their media strategy to stay in limelight, but it has become chronic so much that people started giving less importance to him & ignored his rants as boring daily one-liners.

Over time, he started behaving like a compulsive troll with personal attacks, take dig and insults anyone and everyone for his failure. Now no one knows where AAP as a party is heading. Hope this rout in MCD allow him to introspect about the future of AAP.

I was involved in the Anna movement and was impressed with idea of alternate politics. As AAP came to power , AK's character started unfolding. The way he has carried himself shows his real self, no one can change so much if he is person of principles. I am wondering if as requested by Mayank AK take 180 Degree which is fake and for populism. Better option would be to re-engage all ex AAP members and float a party.

Unknown said...

All angles of politics should be viewed in, before fully blaming AK.
For AK-
1. Other parties viz. BJP and Congress have power and biased media to demolish the newly born parties, specifically born on shear principles.
2. Delhi CM do not have full powers to control the state viz. police, Jung etc.

Against AK
1. Every Indian has tendancy to use powers for self promotion, so is the AK. But heroes have to behave differently.
2. Many decisions of AK were wrong. This may due to decisions were taken indivisualy, rather than by core committee with in-depth analysis.

What should be done -
1. AK should concentrate on Delhi only SILENTLY and SCIENTIFICALLY, not POLITICALLY.

why dont you please ask modiji to join AAP rather than the other way round?there are good reasons for him to do so. the 1st one is that he is heading a party of hardliners and criminal minded politicians. if modiji sits and interacts with natl exec and PAC of aap he will certainly find out who is driving the alternative politics in this country

Dear Mayank ji,

I am a PhD research scholar in IIT Kanpur and closely observe the Indian politics since last 5 years and has gathered some knowledge in it. Your words about Kejriwal are absolutely true but the way you were using the words like the BJPs and the Congresss..reflect your ego not to accept the truth of current politics in the country. Any body can use nice words according to the situation to win hearts temporarily but for a longer version of truth and commitment anybody should come with selflessness. There is a man called Mr. Narendra Modi as PM of Bharat working relentlessly with his all workers binding together and taking some difficult decisions which is coming out to be deployed in long terms benefits of the country. You Mr. Mayank gandhi please remove your ego and start believing that country is now in safe hands and you are welcome to be a part of it or you are allowed by your own decisions to follow you ego so that your ideology could be standing alone and would be of no use. Use it on a proper way.

Regards,

manoranjan

I appreciate your openness Mr. Mayank Gandhi. During initial days, I was a follower of AAP. But after second term of AK am no more. The fact is we all had a different expectation from AK or AAP. If it becomes the same as BJP or Congress or BSP or SP then the point comes to why not choose the least corrupt among all and who could administer better. Part of my family stays in Delhi and part in Punjab. I know the reality why AAP is defeated at both the places. It is there sheer arrogance and ego. You should visit the interior lanes of places in Delhi and would get what am talking about. In Punjab Congress never won, Captain Amrinder won that too because people are fed up of Akalis.

Hear your own conscience ....demonetization was the best step....just that bankers were worse......still the intention is True and Good.....

Is fighting with corruption a wrong for which if he sleeps on the road is bad.
When his collegues goes to africans ladies on request of residents of that area in the mid night and police harrass that MLA and Arvind stands in support of that MLA,is it his ego?Should not he do that thing?

Dear Mayank,
You say,it is kejriwal ego.Where is it??Should lokpal, swaraj be implemented in delhi only? No.
It should be implemented in whole india and for it,it arvind is trying to win whole india, what is wrong in it.

Very well said, honesty alone doesn't make one good administrator. Kejriwal has several other demerits which will never let him become good administrator. I was disillusioned only few weeks after the formation of AAP. I listen him everyday and realized soon that he is just noise pollution. He has no ability to convert dirt into gold, good Politics is all about creating possibilities and uniting & motivating people towards better and common goal. A quality which he always lacked. He used all populist moves to win votes in Delhi, but failed.
He is only good for running agitations. Analyze his arguments and logic, all ridiculous and irritating. He is complete waste. I also donated rs 200 to their movement, a decision I still regret.

AAP was started by bunch of people who had no hopes of achieving anthing in remaining life. They thought by starting a new party, everybody will become memorable leaders with power. After all humans are selfish and none is unselfish to do service to ohers free of cost. They even started getting finance from abroad forces, I read, to topple India. But destiny is otherway. The invisible divine force who runs this world exposed true colours of AAP street fighter groups to the nation so that they could not do further damage to India after UPA. It is good that useless jokers city Delhi ONLY got into trap of AAP. Rest of India got saved.

Dear Mayank,
You are right, but seeing fire and feeling fire has difference. The biggest enemy of an intellectual is the another intellectual as both have valid reasoning and both keeps equal brain, so the chances of conflict always arises more, unlike two non-intellectual people. It is right we should always speak and behave to keep morality and ethic alive, but not gets successful everywhere specially in the world of Indian Politics. This is the toughest challenge to be alive in the Indian politics with the pace of idealism. Needs to look and act in this world with the eyes of competitors only but without compromising with the ethics and nationalism. From the childhood we have heart the politics is very dirty and hence we don’t allow our kid’s to come in the politics; but when any literate, intellectual comes in the field, starts criticising immediately on the ground of morality and all other factors, which we don’t like- starts poisoning the possibilities of keeping the idealism to be alive - which is the most important wish of the completions. So we ourselves help competition to get rid of all the possibilities of surviving the honest group/people in the Indian Politics.
The person, who was hero till yesterday becomes villain in very short span, means every one itself start imposing his/her ambition which contradict the opinion; rather you people must show your faith more on your hero to perform well, rather to criticise from the day one. The criticism may be right also, but could have waited more, but as an intellectual we can’t keep our selves quite and tries to kill the shortcomings then and there irrespective of the consequences unlike other political groups.
If wish to be alive in the politics, needs to keep your hero alive, enabling to impose the purpose to be implemented. When the hero will be dead still the purpose will be defeated and most importantly again no honest people will dare to serve politics - will result the future of country to dark.
You people should understand why AK is fail and should support him with more strength rather to betray him further or to make him understand his shortcomings. Is there any other alternate solution? He got defeated in the home by you people, who wanted to see the same AK which is right also, but every scenario gets changed with time and requirement – He also needed to change if the purpose was needed to be alive, which was difficult for you people to digest as an intellectual and even for me also, but again what was the alternate? If do not change, the environment will not allow to survive and if gets change family members will not allow to live. The criticism within the home leads opponent to make you weaker, which probably you people could not understand. The opposition was ready to make your hero fail at every front and at every step as a strategy, but they got rapid success as you people also made him fail inside the home. What is the outcome?
You people made him understand his shortcomings at every step, good; but ultimately the purpose also got defeated, what opponents wanted to do. What is gain to the nation?
If your hero will be alive then only your purpose collectively can be met out, and the purpose of crores of Indians could be met out which was corruption free Nation. Even if your hero was wrong by 180 degree, could be made right back also if would have shown more faith or would have been changed in the leadership after getting strengths. In the class of nursery only, we tried to implement all the moral studies in us, resulted we are dead.. So no discussion of morality will take place.... no chance of anyone else to come in the politics to make it dirty-free. What we gained ultimately.

Unknown said...

To be powerful is wrong, but again we forgot to remember in Indian Politics if wish to be alive will have to increase the powers on daily basis, otherwise the opponents will crush us, yes of course we should not compromise with our purpose, goal, idealism, moralities... but simultaneously should not revolt also to become dead. If power gain was wrong, then should learn with our PM, who is increasing his powers on yesterday basis at any cost... probably then only he can deliver or will deliver, so what wrong AK did if he also adopted the same strategy. Rather you should be proud all the strategies and issues were made and highlighted by you people only on which other people are ruling by stealing the same from you people, as we were busy in blaming our own hero, rather supporting him to fight with opponents to make beautiful tomorrow.
Can any one of you still take the charge of AK, and assure to fight with the opponents at the same speed, without compromising with the goals and ethics and bring back the Party Back to the same height to give India a better political environment..... come forward rather to blame anyone.
Why not we continued working like an honest worker for the society, nation, and humanity and for the better tomorrow, even if the wavelengths with AK got distracted; even if he turned 180 degree.
Why we left our mission as an individual? Means he was the centre point and he is the centre point.
I am really impressed with Mr. Yogendra Yadav, as he is continuing his mission, even after dis-associating with the Principle organization. But of course what result both of them could get got distracted - again no gain to anyone.
Even if AK has wished or worked to become next PM; Is it not good to have Literate , Intellectual, Honest and your hero and the ideal of country to promote as PM, rather to give the chances of orthodox people to capture the position and to ruin the Nation. Then why we talk of changes in politics? Let it be as it is and enjoy our professional career.
So, let’s unite again, and have to accept any one as a leader if wish to be alive, get strength and then implements all the good things which are good for country. Be alive first, be in cluster, don’t allow the things to go out, don’t allow ourselves to break. Tolerate the things, accept unidirectional decision and bring the root strong first; no sense to make any one to understand who is wrong or right. You all are right. This is the only organization, where all the key members are extra-ordinary and achieved something different in his/her life, so none of you could be wrong, only needs to believe and accept the opinion of one leadership- he or she may be anyone.... but sorry we are intellectuals so will not accept any route map of one leader as we are intelligent.
You can’t shut all the intelligent in a small room for 24 hours, as they will start quarreling immediately on the basis of difference of opinions and each one’s opinion remains right. But you can shut the fools for days together, as they don’t argue nor keeps difference of opinions as a majority.
Let’s make country better rather to debate on shortcomings. Support one person who is better than the rest, the Nation will automatically come to a sincere hand. Keep on finding and supporting other next better person...

Dear Mayank read your view on Arvind and on present situation in aap.

I'm a great admirer of arvind and you.in fact your sincere effort for drought hit water crisis touched me and I also contributed a small amount fir it.

I feel over ambition of anyone in any Field is dangerous. To me your views sounds perfect broadly but problem in short is over ambition and confrontational approach is getting bad name for party.

There is still time for aap to do good work. One thing in yet to understand every senior person from media and parties saying that MCD has not done anything in the last 10 years but then still they get majority surprising.

Keep writing like this may he one day he will realize this.

Mayank you have written truth and nothing but the truth. All lacs of volunteers and members who worked selflessly for the movement are shocked and feeling cheated. My biggest worry is that India has lost the only opportunity she got to have an alternative form of government. Public will never give faith again to any such attempt made in future. Due to arrogance of one man the nation will suffer ... may be for centuries. Dictatorial and communal forces are going to take over our motherland. Our coming generations will suffer and they will never come to know that a great movement was killed by foolish ambitions of a stupid man...

..nation first, party next and individuals last..
..The other day, a young volunteer...“What is our fault?” ... Why was he removed

If first statement is to be accepted, cant one say that the individual was sacrificed to keep party's interest ?!!

All is still not lost Mr.AK. Still time to make a 180 degree turn and get back to the old AK you were , understanding ,mature and most importantly unselfish. Relook at the coterie around you and do proper thought provoking introspection , maybe things will improve.

Mayank has put in words what most of us initially felt and expected of AAP.

There is still hope. 67 seats in Delhi and three more years.

AAP should work on Democratic principles and not just a one man show.

Arvind we still believe in you.

First of all set aside that ego and bring back Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav to begin with.

Second and most important - concentrate on your work in Delhi first and foremost, priceless lessons have been learnt from Punjab, Goa and now the MCD. No more blame games and confrontations with Modi.

AAP honge kamyab

Arvind kejariwal need to focus only on the governance of Delhi and proving his capabilities and AAP as party to Delhi people and nation. Till then he should keep his mouth shut for any issue anywhere in the country.
Yes AAP is not only Arvind Kejariwal, it was aspirations of Indians for clean & alternative politics. There was no reason for Arvind Kejariwal to compete with PM candidate or post election PM of India.
Also the national or core committee members insulting removal was really sad and pathetic.
He need to get all those members back with due respect. It will also help AAP if Arvind puts up an public apology for mistakes committed by him

With AAP, India has lost the golden chance to destroy Congress and BJP who are ruling India financially from last 70 years and no development in India. At ground level, still there is corruption. No mudra loan is given in banks.
BJP is good because other parties are bad except AAP. BJP targets AAP through Police, News channel, other sources of marketing.BJP fears of AAP and that is true from MODI speeches in delhi election.

If this continues, politics again come to congress and third majority party will not arise.
RSS & news channel illegal support to BJP can be easily seen on television.
India people need to be smart and to vote for person and not to party.

Nationalized, opposition parties silenced, citizens are selectively targeted, so are the political leaders. We are anonymous because we are selectively targeted. Now understand why day in day out KK is targeted... The natural resources of India is being hogged by the vultures, all Govt.
